PhilaSoup will also match a portion of the ticket sales to increase these grant funds. During the meal, educators present their ideas for projects. At the end of the presentations, everyone votes for the project they would like to give the largest portion of funds to. Every teacher will receive a percentage of the grant funds. PhilaSoup has held 24 dinners and raised over $19,584 to bring 35+ teacher-led or student-led school projects to life in Philadelphia. PhilaSoup is now in its’ fourth year of operation.
